Harrar is one of the main coffee-producing regions in Ethiopia & it's unique characteristic is it's body and mouthfeel it possesses as compared to coffee from the Sidamo & Yirgacheffe regions in the country.
This coffee is limited in production yield as these are the coffees which are owned by plotholders in the region.
Overall, it produces a more pungent flavour and fruitiness in the cup that reflects dark cherries & peaches predominantly. On filter, it gives off a slight funk reminding you of cempedak.
